Hongyul Han is a professor of Economics at Hanyang University. Recently, he joined the National Economic Advisory Council chaired by the President of Korea. Other affiliations include the chair of the Korea Consensus Institute and a senior fellow of the Center for International Economic Studies, a member of the Advisory Committee to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy(until 2018) and former research fellow of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (1991-1995).
