With expertise in Consumer Behavior and Marketing, Professor Song has made substantial contributions to the academic community through her research, teaching, and service to the community.
Professor Song received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Korea University, a master’s degree from the Travel Industry Management (TIM) school at University of Hawaii, Manoa (UHM), and a doctoral degree in International Marketing from UHM. She brings years of experience to her role at Hanyang University, ERICA since 2007. Prior to this, she held the position of assistant professor at Western Washington University. Additionally, outside of academics, she has served as an outsider director at Hyundai Insurance Company.
Professor Song is deeply committed to teaching and mentorship. Her areas of expertise in teaching include Consumer Behavior, Marketing Management, and Solving Business Problems. She has a passion for imparting knowledge and has played a crucial role in inspiring and guiding students on their academic journeys and career paths.
Her research has been published in major marketing journals including Psychology and Marketing, The Korean Journal of Marketing, and The Korean Journal of Advertising. Current research interests revolve around ethical consumer behaviors.
