Kim, Sangsoo Honorary Professor

■ Introduction
I am Professor Kim Sang-Su, serving in the Department of Business Administration at Hanyang University’s College of Business and Economics. I earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Korea University and obtained both an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Georgia State University.
My key research areas include Management Information Systems (MIS), business simulation games, creative problem solving and decision making, creative management and innovation. Among my principal books are Principles and Strategy of Creative Management, Business Simulation Game Biz-Master, Creative Decision Making and Problem Solving, Business Data Analysis Using Excel, Decision-Making Know-How: Turning Crisis into Opportunity, and Principles of Management.
I developed the business education simulation game “Biz-Master,” for which I obtained Korea’s first patent. I also developed a creative problem solving assessment system and launched the portal Biz-Solver focused on creative problem solving and creative management.
I have served as a judge for the Korea Management Association Consulting Internet Awards, an evaluator for the Federation of Korean Industries’ Management Awards, a Core MBA faculty member at the Federation of Korean Industries’ International Business School, a member of the Korea Digital Industrial Complex operations committee, director of the ECRC Center and head of ICT at Gyeonggi Technopark, and department head of the e-Business Graduate School at Hanyang University. I currently serve as Vice President of the Korean Information Systems Society.
