I graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in Business Administration, and later earned an M.B.A. from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. I am currently a professor in the Department of Business Administration at Hanyang University’s College of Business and Economics, engaged in research and consultancy related to franchising. My books and articles include Service Operations Management, Service Quality Management, A JIT Procurement Model for Franchise Firms, An Exploratory Study on Service Typology, Ship Transport Models for Mixed Cargo, Comparative Models for Measuring Production Competitiveness, Application of Differentiation Delay by Service Type, Securing Flexibility in Service Firms through Differentiation Delay, An Operations Management Approach to Improving Service Productivity, and many others published in journals such as the Journal of Production Management and the Journal of Service Management.
